Rences have booked their qualification to the Division One League after winning the Greater Accra Regional Football Association Division Two League.
They secured their ticket after beating Na God Football club by a lone goal thanks to Jessie Noi.
But the victory did not come easy for the Tema-based side despite starting on a front foot through Prince Appiah whose effort went wide in the 2nd minute.
Na God grew into the match and had many attempts on goal with Blessing Boafo particularly coming close twice to scoring.
In the second half, Benjamin Oduro nearly gave Na God the opener with a powerful strike after he dummied his marker but goalkeeper Patrick Sam was there to parry it away in the 59th minute.
With the game approaching penalties, Jessie Noi planted a header from Maxwell Takyi’s cross to give Rences the win and eventually attain the ticket for next season’s DOL.
