Bechem United winger, Augustine Okrah has rated himself as the best player in the just-ended 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
The 28-year-old who joined the Hunters before the start of the just-ended season was a key figure for the club.
Okrah scored 18 times in all competitions, 4 in the FA Cup and 14 in the league which made him the third-highest top scorer in the just-ended season.
Bechem United finished 3rd in the Premier League but lost the MTN FA Cup to Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Speaking to Wontumi FM/TV, the ex- Al Hilal forward has tipped himself as the best in the league and also lauded the great finishing ability of strikers in the league.
“I believe I’m the best player in the just-ended season, if I win the award, I will be extremely happy,” he said.
“This season, most of the strikers have great finishing and will punish you with a little mistake you commit. They have all been fantastic this,” he added.
Okrah is expected to join Tanzanian side, SC Simba on two-year deal.
