uropean giants France named Ghanaian youth defender Enock Kwateng on their bench for their Euro U19 qualification victory over Denmark on Saturday.
The 18-year-old utility defender warmed the bench as the young Blues made mockery of Denmark by hammering them 4-0 at the Gradski Stadion in Jagodina.
Kwateng, who plays for Ligue 1 side Nantes, has a Ligue 1 debut against Angers last August and has appeared on the Nantes bench 13 times.
He was rested for the game after playing the 90 minutes for France in their narrow win over Montenegro on Thursday.
Kwateng along with Elisha Owusu are all playing for the French youth team.
Owusu plays for Lyon U19 side.
