Reigning Ghana Premier league goal king Yaw Annor says he is hoping to play for the Black Stars in the future.
Annor had a steller campaign in the Ghanaian top-flight with AshGold, scoring 22 goals to win top-scorer award in the just ended 2021/2022 season.
He also equalled Hearts of Oak legendary striker Ishmael Addo’s 21-year-old record for the most goals in the Premier League, a feat that has left Ghanaian football fanatics chorusing for his Black Stars call up.
“It is every player’s dream of playing for the national team, and I hope the call will come one day” Annor told Hot 93.9 FM.
Black Stars coach Otto Addo will hand invitations to players in September for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
