Ghanaian goalkeeper Benjamin Yeboah has joined Resende from Braganca, completing a move to the Portuguese club on 25 August 2026. The 21-year-old has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027.

Yeboah arrives at Resende after only a short spell with Braganca, having joined the club from Esmoriz on 1 July 2026. That earlier move was completed as a free transfer, before his latest switch within Portugal was finalised less than two months later.

The goalkeeper has made a series of club changes during the past two seasons. Before moving to Esmoriz, he left Aldeia Nova on 26 November 2025, having joined that club from Pombal earlier in the year. His move to Pombal from Hearts of Oak was also completed without a transfer fee on 1 August 2024.

Yeboah’s career also includes a spell with Hearts of Oak, who signed him from Berekum Chelsea in September 2021 on loan. That loan ended in February 2022, when he returned to Hearts of Oak. The Ghanaian later moved permanently to Pombal before continuing his career in Portugal.

His arrival at Resende comes at the start of the 2026-27 campaign. The goalkeeper is listed as part of the squad for the Campeonato de Portugal – Serie A, although he had not made an appearance in the competition by the time of the move. He remains 21 years old, having been born on 26 December 2004.

Yeboah’s move follows a period of regular movement between clubs, with his latest change taking him from Braganca to Resende. The agreement keeps him at his new club through the end of June 2027.
