The Black Princesses are gearing up for their FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against South Africa, taking place today at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Coach Charles Sampson exudes confidence, believing Ghana holds an edge over their opponents.

“We’re looking forward to this game,” Sampson said. “I see it being an open game, but I see us having an advantage over them in many other things.”

The team has relocated to Accra to fine-tune preparations, with Sampson emphasizing the importance of home support.

Ghana aims to secure a spot in the fourth and final qualifying round, inching closer to an eighth consecutive World Cup appearance in Poland.

The Princesses’ attacking quality and defensive organization were on display in their 4-0 aggregate win over Tunisia last month.

The match kicks off at 3:30 pm, with South Africa hosting the return leg between February 12-14.

Sampson urges fans to pack the stadium, saying, “We need massive support from Ghanaians to get a big win”
