Ghanaian midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana has rejoined Cagliari on loan for the rest of the season, cutting short his initial loan to Bologna.
Cagliari has an option to buy the 22-year-old at the end of the season.
Sulemana, who previously spent a season with Cagliari, has struggled for regular minutes at Bologna, making only four appearances this season.
Cagliari believes Sulemana’s experience and physical presence will add balance and depth to their squad, currently sitting 15th in Serie A.
The club hopes to reinforce their squad to strengthen their survival bid and avoid relegation.
Sulemana’s loan move is seen as a win-win for both Cagliari and the player, providing him with much-needed playing time and the club with a talented midfielder.
