Vision FC head coach Nana Kweku Agyemang says he is dissatisfied with his team’s 2-2 draw against Heart of Lions — and insists his side must show a stronger winning mentality as they face Asante Kotoko today in a crucial league fixture.
The Tema-based side took a point from their Matchday 11 clash with the league’s second-placed team, but Agyemang made it clear that he never prepares his team to settle for draws.
“I am never content — home or away, it doesn’t matter who I’m playing,” he said.
“I don’t train the whole week just to pick up one point or lose a game. That’s not my mentality, that’s not how I coach.”
He explained that his aggressive tactical approach reflects his ambition to win every match:
“I go into every game thinking I can pick up the three points. Otherwise, I wouldn’t play a man-oriented press against an experienced side like that. I wanted all three points.”
With Vision FC sitting 10th on the table with 14 points, their attention now shifts fully to today’s showdown with in-form Asante Kotoko, who are unbeaten in 10 games. Agyemang will be hoping his team’s brave approach delivers maximum points against one of the league’s toughest opponents.
