Aduana FC head coach Cioaba Aristica believes his side has what it takes to mount a serious title challenge this season after their 1-1 draw with Asante Kotoko in Kumasi.
Emmanuel Marfo put the visitors ahead early in the first half before Lord Amoah equalised late in the opening period at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Despite suffering two defeats so far, Aduana remain firmly in the race, sitting third on the log with 21 points, one behind leaders Medeama SC after 10 games.
“I’m happy about this new group for Aduana Stars, gradually gradually we will go up,” Aristica said.
“It is important, the group trust each other and work week in, week out and improve.
“And with that, very sure we will be fighting for the top spot,” he said.
Aduana Stars last lifted the Ghana Premier League title in 2017 and remain two-time champions.
