Ghana’s U-17 Women’s National Team, the Black Maidens, will assemble in Sunyani on Monday, October 6 to kickstart preparations for their upcoming international campaigns.
Head coach Joe Nana Adarkwa has named a 30-player provisional squad, blending exciting prospects from across the country as the Ghana Football Association continues to invest in women’s youth football.
The list features standouts such as Gloria Adomako Ameaa of Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Gloria Owusu from Arm of God Ladies, and Army Ladies’ Linda Achiaa. Rising youngsters like Romina Akolpoka Adombila of Bolga Sharp Arrows and Dreamz Ladies’ Grace Nyame also headline the call-up.
Players from well-established youth sidesEp; iphany Warriors, Oaks FC, Rootz Sistaz, and Northern City Ladies are also heavily represented, underlining their influence in nurturing Ghana’s next generation of female stars.
