Ghana midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana has completed a season-long loan move to Italian Serie A side Bologna from Atalanta, ahead of the 2025–26 campaign.
The 22-year-old, who ended last season in fine form under Ivan Juric was not in the plans of new Atalanta boss Ivan Juric and will now continue his development at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara. The deal is worth €1 million with an option to buy set at €11 million.
Sulemana, who previously starred for Cagliari before joining Atalanta in 2024 for €7.4 million, managed 10 appearances last season and scored twice ; including a crucial strike against AS Roma that secured Atalanta’s Champions League qualification. He was also named the club’s Player of the Month for May.
