Lexington Sporting Club has signed Ghanaian midfielder Latif Atta Blessing for the 2025 USL Championship season.
The 28-year-old brings a wealth of experience and championship-winning mentality to the team.
Blessing rose to fame in the Ghana Premier League with Liberty Professionals, winning the Best Player of the Year award in 2016 after scoring 17 goals.
He then played in Major League Soccer for clubs like Sporting Kansas City, Los Angeles FC, New England Revolution, Toronto FC, and Houston Dynamo, winning several titles including the U.S. Open Cup and MLS Cup.
Blessing’s versatility as a midfielder and attacking option will be a valuable asset to Lexington.
His signing is seen as a major coup for the young club, signaling their intent to become a serious contender in the USL Championship.
