Christopher Bonsu Baah says Saudi move is about growth, not money

Ghanaian winger Christopher Bonsu Baah says his decision to join the Saudi Pro League is motivated by ambition and career progression, not financial gain.

The 20-year-old is set to sign a four-year deal with Al Qadsiah after Genk and the Saudi club reached an agreement. A medical is expected in the coming days before the move is completed.

“Moving to Saudi is not just about money or anything. It is about me progressing in my football career,” Bonsu Baah told Joy Sports ahead of his return to Belgium.

The Black Stars debutant impressed in recent friendlies against Nigeria and Trinidad and Tobago, with his performances boosting his profile as one of Ghana’s most exciting young talents.
