Hamburger SV has released German Ghanaian Pakia Ware and Emmanuel Appiah.
Pakia Ware spent six years with the club. The 23-year-old becomes a free agent, eligible to join any club in the summer transfer window.
Ware, who joined Hamburger’s youth setup from Borussia Dortmund in 2019, has attracted interest from third-tier German clubs.
He made 38 appearances for Hamburger II, scoring four goals and delivering four assists.
Although he represented Germany at youth levels, Ware remains eligible to play for Ghana.
He played for Germany’s U16 and U17 teams, making 10 and 6 appearances, respectively. Ware’s future club is yet to be determined.
Meanwhile, attacking midfielder Emmanuel Appiah leaves after a five-year stay.
The German-born Ghanaian becomes a free agent and can join any club in the summer transfer window.
Appiah, who rose through Hamburger’s ranks, has attracted interest from third-tier German clubs.
He is eligible to play for Ghana, his parents’ country, having not represented any German national team.
Appiah made 13 appearances for Hamburger II last season.
