German-born Ghanaian defender Jacob Danquah has rejoined Regionalliga Südwest side Stuttgarter Kickers.
The 20-year-old centre-back moves as a free agent after his contract with Hannover 96’s U23 team expired this summer.
This marks a return to familiar territory for Danquah, who previously played for the Kickers before moving to Hannover.
Stuttgarter Kickers confirmed the signing with a warm statement, calling him “a familiar face” and expressing excitement about his return.
They praised his potential and noted that his addition strengthens their defensive options ahead of the new season.
Danquah is expected to bring solidity and experience to the backline despite his young age.
He becomes the latest Ghanaian player to make a move in Germany’s lower leagues as the 2024/25 season approaches.
