New Black Queens forward Abigail Kim has set her sights on winning the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations and qualifying for the World Cup.
The Ghanaian-American, born in Liberia, believes the current squad has what it takes to succeed if they remain united and follow the coach’s plan.
“If we all work together and follow instructions, we can achieve great things,” she said.
“My hope is to win the Women’s African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) and then qualify for the World Cup.”
Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, which will commence on July 5, 2025, will see the Black Queens face South Africa, Mali and Tanzania in Group C.
The next Women’s World Cup comes off in 2027 with qualification series yet to begin.
