Liverpool have signed Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Jeremie Frimpong on a five-year deal from Bayer Leverkusen.
Frimpong joined the Reds in a deal worth 35m euros and expected to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold, who would be joining Real Madrid.
The full-back, known for his attacking prowess, has been instrumental for Leverkusen, scoring 5 goals and providing 12 assists in 48 appearances this season.
His consistent performances over the past two seasons have made him a key player for the Bundesliga side.
However, Frimpong will have competition from Northern Ireland defender Conor Bradley, who extended his stay with the Reds for the next four years.
