Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has confirmed that forward Jordan Ayew has returned to the team after serving a suspension in the English Premier League.
The Black Stars forward received a yellow card booking in their game against Liverpool at Anfield Stadium.
Ayew missed the Foxes’ clash against Manchester City following his yellow card accumulation.
His return is a significant boost to their attacking lineup ahead of their game against Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday.
“We’re delighted to have Ayew back after his suspension, which is a big boost to my squad,” Ruud van Nistelrooy said.
The 33-year-old forward has scored four goals in 16 appearances since joining the Foxes from Crystal Palace.
