CAF CL: Ghanaian Referee Daniel Laryea to officiate MC Alger-Young Africans game

Ghanaian referee Daniel Laryea has been appointed to officiate the CAF Champions League group stage match between MC Alger and Young Africans SC at the Stade du 5 Juillet in Algiers slated for December 7.

The game will see both teams eager to secure their first wins after poor starts to the group campaign.

MC Alger kicked off their journey with a 1-1 draw against TP Mazembe, while Yanga SC suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at home to Sudanese giants Al-Hilal on matchday one.

Laryea brings extensive experience to the match having been on the FIFA International Referees list since 2014,

He has officiated major tournaments such as the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), CHAN, CAF Women’s Champions League, and several high-profile CAF interclub competitions.
