Asante Kotoko SC have returned to their usual home ground, Baba Yara Stadium, for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.

The Porcupine Warriors had temporarily relocated to Obuasi’s Len Clay Stadium following the closure of Baba Yara Stadium for renovation.

The National Sports Authority closed the Kumasi venue after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) withdrew its approval for the stadium following the Ghana vs. Angola Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in September 2024.

“We are pleased to announce our return to the Baba Yara Stadium for our remaining home games of the season. This decision was made following an official communication confirming the completion of maintenance work at out historic home venue,” Kotoko confirmed on their social media platform.

The Porcupines will host rivals Hearts of Oak in the Super Clash at Baba Yara Stadium on December 14, 2024.
