Ghana’s 2022 World Cup opponent South Korea recorded a 2-0 win over 10-man Chile in an international friendly on Monday.
Son Heung-min scored a delightful free-kick to add to an early goal from Wolverhampton striker Hwang Hee-chan, as South Korea continued their World Cup preparations by bouncing back from a 5-1 loss to Brazil last week.
Hwang scored after 12 minutes, charging into the area from the left and firing a powerful shot past Chile goalkeeper Fernando De Paul.
With just seconds remaining, Son scored his 32nd goal for his country by curling a free-kick into the top corner from a central position just outside the area.
What a freekick by Son against Chile!!
The icing on the cake was me winning £50 as I bet on South Korea scoring at least two goals ?pic.twitter.com/GQ61rE81h7
