Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu scored his debut Champions League goal for AS Monaco in their 2-2 draw against Dinamo Zagreb.
Petar Sucic opened the scoring for the hosts in the 45th minute, giving Dinamo Zagreb the advantage heading into the break.
Martin Baturina doubled their lead in the 66th minute, seemingly securing three points for the Croatian side.
However, Salisu pulled one back for Monaco in the 74th minute, sparking a comeback. Denis Zakaria then converted a penalty in the 90th minute, ensuring Monaco left Croatia with a hard-fought point.
After the draw, AS Monaco sits 14th in the new UEFA Champions League standings, with four points from two games in the 2024/25 season.
Salisu has now made six appearances for Monaco this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist across all competitions.
