Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman marked his maiden UEFA Champions League appearance with Feyenoord’s thrilling 3-2 victory over Girona.

The youngster played 61 minutes of the game and was instrumental in the mouthwatering fixture at Estadi Municipal de Montilivi.

Girona’s David Lopez struck first on 19 minutes but Feyenoord equalized through Yangel Herrera’s own goal five minutes later.

Antoni Milambo’s thunderbolt on 33 minutes gave Feyenoord the lead.

Donny van de Beek leveled 77 minutes only for Ladislav Krejci’s own goal to seal Feyenoord’s win 11 minutes later.

After the game, the highly-rated winger took to social media to celebrate his debut in the UEFA’s elite club competition.

“Champions League debut and plus three points. Proud moment for me and my family. Thank you all” he wrote on social media.

Ibrahim joined Feyenoord on a season long loan from Brighton in the summer transfer window.

He is expected to be named in the Black Stars squad for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers doubleheader against Sudan.
