Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg have completed the signing of Ghanaian striker Edmund Baidoo in the ongoing summer transfer window
The 18 year old joins the club on five year deal until 2029.
Baidoo expressed his excitement, saying, ‘It’s a dream come true. I’m aware of Salzburg’s reputation for developing top talent, and I’m eager to contribute to the club’s success.”
Baidoo’s impressive performances at Sogndal IF, with 10 goal involvements in 19 appearances caught the attention of two Premier League clubs.
However, he chose Salzburg to further his development in Europe, just months after moving from Asanska in Ghana’s Division 2 to Europe in March.
