Ghana’s U20 female national team, the Black Princesses, have embarked on a journey to Colombia in preparation for the highly anticipated World Cup.

The team left Accra on Tuesday to Bogota where they will fine-tune their skills ahead of the tournament’s kick-off on August 31.

This marks Ghana’s seventh consecutive appearance at the World Cup, and the team is determined to make history by progressing beyond the group stage for the first time.

The Black Princesses have been drawn into Group E, alongside Japan, New Zealand, and Austria.

Their campaign will commence with a thrilling encounter against Austria on September 2, followed by matches against Japan and New Zealand.
