Asante Kotoko have officially asked to open negotiations with New Edubiase United for the signing of midfielder Asiedu Attobrah, Ghanasoccernet.com can confirm.

The Porcupine Warriors have maintained their interest in the 20-year-old following his exploits with the Bekwai-based side last season but Edubiase resisted his sale last season.

Kotoko have written to Edubiase requesting a date to begin negotiations over signing the talented youngster.

Edubiase will listen to Kotoko’s offer but will stay open for other offers.

Kotoko’s big rivals, Hearts have also expressed interest in the playmaker with coach David Duncan including the youngster in his wishlist.
