With football fans often given a bad name when going abroad, it was great to see Man City’s travelling army enjoying themselves with their Borussia Dortmund compatriots in Madrid’s Plaza Mayor.
Pep Guardiola’s side play Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night, whilst the Bundesliga giants face Atletico at the Metropolitano on Wednesday.
With Erling Haaland having played for both City and Dortmund, he featured in some of the chanting in what was a party atmosphere captured by TikTok user @bigstevemcfc and posted to X (formerly Twitter) but the official Football Away Days account.
