West Ham United’s forward, Jarrod Bowen, showed empathy for Mohammed Kudus following the Ghana midfielder’s missed scoring opportunities in their Premier League triumph over Brentford on Monday evening.
In a much-awaited return to form, the Hammers clinched a 4-2 victory, with Bowen securing a hat-trick and Kudus delivering an assist.
Despite his valuable contribution, Kudus was unable to find the back of the net to bolster his six-goal tally in the league since his move from Ajax Amsterdam.
Reflecting on Kudus’ performance, Bowen commented, “Mo was unfortunate not to find the net tonight, but he provided a fantastic ball for me, highlighting the quality we possess.”
Kudus was substituted in the 94th minute as West Ham ascended to eighth place in the standings.
Their upcoming challenge is an away fixture against Everton on Saturday, March 2, kicking off at 15:00 GMT.
