French Ligue 1 side, Lorient FC have captured the signature of Ghanaian defender Nathaniel Adjei on a loan deal in the winter transfer window.
The former Ghana U-20 defender will be in France for the rest of the season from Hammerby.
The deal includes an option of a permanent contract based on performance.
“It’s a great opportunity for me to sign for Merlus and to discover Ligue 1, a championship which has seen many Ghanaians play there,” He said.
“By joining FC Lorient, I am taking a step forward in my career.”
Adjei is the fifth player to feature for Lorient after Andre Ayew and his brother Jordan, Eben Dugbate, and Alhassan Wakaso.
