Accra Lions attacker, Mohammed Yahaya has been named Man of the Match (MoTM) after his match-winning brace for the team in the game against Nsoatreman FC in the Ghana Premier League on Monday afternoon.

Accra Lions locked horns with Nsoatreman FC today in Round 15 of the 2023/24 Ghanaian top-flight league.
In a game played at the WAFA Park in Sogakope, Nsoatreman FC had a dream start and scored in the first minute.
A strike from Kwabena Adu Meider stunned Accra Lions to give the visitors the lead.
While that game would separate the two teams for most of the 90 minutes, Accra Lions never lost hope.
The team pushed and fought until the final whistle and managed to turn things around.
It was all thanks to the heroics of Mohammed Yahaya who netted a brace in the second half.
The attacker scored his first in the 73rd minute before getting his second in the 81st minute.
Courtesy of the hard-fought victory, Accra Lions have climbed to 9th on the Ghana Premier League standings.
