West Ham United manager David Moyes has described Ghanaian attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus stunning goal against Brentford as a ” great goal”.
The former Ajax player was on the scoresheet but was not enough as the Hammers lost 3-2 away to Brentford in the English Premier League.
Neal Maupay broke the deadlock for the home side in the 11th minute before Mohammed Kudus restored parity in the 19th minute with a spectacular kick.
In the 26th minute, Jarrod Bowen increased the tally for the Hammers with a fine strike to end the first half 2-1.
Konstantinos Mavropanos’ own goal and Nathan Collins strike in the second half completed the comeback for Brentford.
“It was a great goal from Mohammed Kudus,” Moyes said.
The win puts Brentford in the 9th position with 16 points while West Ham United sit 11th on the log with 14 points.
Kudus has scored 5 goals in seven starts for West ham United in the ongoing campaign.
