WAFCONQ: Black Queens demolish Rwanda in first-leg

Ghana’s Black Queens put up a strong display to demolish Rwanda 7-0 in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Wednesday.

Braces from Evelyn Badu and Anasthesia Achiaa coupled with goals from Doris Boaduwaa, Princella Adubea and Alice Kusi sealed the emphatic in Kigali.

It is now six consecutive wins for head coach Nora Hauptle since taking charge of women’s senior national team, scoring 21 goals and conceding none.

She and her charges will seek to keep the record intact when they host Rwanda in the second leg at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 26.
