Newly promoted English Premier League side Sheffield United goalie Jordan Yamoah Amissah is set for a call up into the Black Meteors ahead of upcoming U-23 AFCON in Morocco this year.
According to Sportsworldghana.com the technical team led by Ibrahim Tanko contacted him to represent Ghana at the Under 23 stage.
The Black Meteors of Ghana are pitted in Group A with host Morocco, Congo and Guinea for the tournament next month with the aim of making it to the 2024 Olympic games in Paris, France.
Ghana is hoping to make their first appearance for the first time in 20 years.
