On Sunday afternoon, Real Zaragoza and Albacete go head-to-head at the Estadio de la Romareda as the visitors look to boost their chances of promotion in the Spanish Segunda.

The home team is currently in 15th place in the Spanish second tier, six points clear of the Segunda relegation zone. They have struggled for victories of late in the league, winning just one of their last six matches in the Segunda.

However, a 1-1 draw against Huesca last time out means that Real Zaragoza is at least four games unbeaten in the Spanish second tier.

Their recent Segunda games have been relatively low-scoring, as there have been under 2.5 goals scored in six of their last nine league matches.

Real Zaragoza has been difficult to beat at the Romareda, as they have lost just once in their last eight league matches on home soil.

The visitors are fighting for a place in the Segunda play-off spots, as they currently sit in sixth place in the table.

However, they are seven points behind the automatic promotion spots, so they are still in the race for a top-two finish this season.

A 2-1 home defeat against Granada last time out ended a five-game unbeaten run for Albacete in the Segunda. However, Ruben Albes’ team has now won just once in their previous five league games.

Their recent Segunda games have been relatively low-scoring, as eight of their last 11 league matches have produced under 2.5 goals.

Albacete is winless in their last four away games in the Spanish second tier, although their previous three league games on their travels have produced draws.

What does Forebet predict?

Forebet predicts that this clash will produce a low-scoring draw, which will not help either team’s Segunda objectives this season.
