Adequate security for Access Bank Division One match between Skyy FC and Nations FC

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) wishes to announce to all relevant stakeholders and the general public that the Safety and Security Committee have engaged the leadership of the Western Regional Football Association and Skyy FC to provide adequate security for this weekend’s Access Bank Division One League fixture between leaders Skyy FCF and second placed Nations FC.

The Daboase based club locks horns with their fellow promotional contenders this Sunday, March 18, 2023, in a Zone Two fixture at St. Martins Park, Daboase.

The game, which will also be streamed live on GFA media platforms, has been re-categorized by the Safety and Security Committee for special attention and compliance.

The local parties, Skyy FC and the Western RFA have already been communicated to, to ensure adequate arrangements and deployment of security personnel, including the military, before, during, and after the match.

A delegate from the Safety and Security Committee and the Competitions Department will also be in attendance.

The GFA will continue to put in place measures to ensure safe and secure match venues across the various Leagues.
