Ghana international midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has dedicated his Ghana Premier League matchday 16 Most Valuable Player Award Ghanaian business mogul Humphrey Awuletey Williams.
Badu, 32, assisted 19-year-old Michael Osei to score the opening goal against Dreams FC in a game that ended 1-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The former Udinese captain bossed the midfield as he dictated and controlled the pace and texture of the game which the Wonder Club outrightly dominated until the visiting club – Dreams FC scored a last-gasp leveller through Collins Boah.
Speaking to , the 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup gold medalist dedicated his award to the business man.
“I dedicate this MVP award to the Group Chairman of Oswal investment Ltd, Mr. Humphrey Awuletey. He has been a great character behind the seems and this award goes to him,” he said.
“This is my second MVP of the season and I aspire to do more for Olympics,” he added.
