Ghanaian defender Ismail Abdul-Ganiyu has terminated his contract with Iraqi side Talaba Sports Club, according to media reports.
Ganiyu joined Talaba Sports Club on a year contract from Asante Kotoko.
Kickoffghana.com understand the contract was abrogated due to lack of playing time.
His contract with Talaba Sports Club was set to expire on September 29 this year.
In the 2021/22 season, Ganiyu was a key man at the back for the Porcupine Warriors and helped the club to emerge as Champions of the Ghana Premier League.
