‘Coach Otto Addo was a disappointment’ – GFA EXCO Member

Executive Member of the Ghana Football Association Frederick Acheampong has labeled Coach Otto Addo as a “disappointment” following Black Stars early exit from the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Ghana got eliminated from the group stage of the competition accumulating only three points from three matches.

They lost to Portugal and Uruguay with a win against South Korea in the second group game.

Addo announced his resignation from his post, as he is contracted with German giants Borussia Dortmund.

Speaking on Kessben FM in an Frederick Acheampong said, “Coach Otto Addo was a disappointment. Some of us had believed in him but we did not see what we were told. What we were told never manifested.” he added.

The Ghana Football Association have shortlisted six coaches for the vacant Black Stars coaching job.
