AC Pisa vs Ternana Calcio – 26/11/2022

Pisa set to hold Ternana in Serie B

7267

On Saturday evening, Pisa will host Ternana in the Italian Serie B as the visitors look to boost their automatic promotion chances.

The home team will kick off this game just a point above the relegation play-off spots and two points clear of the automatic relegation berths in the Italian second-tier table.

Despite what looks like a perilous position in the table, Luca D’Angelo’s team is unbeaten in their last eight matches in Serie B.

However, five of the eight unbeaten league games have produced draws, which have not helped Pisa move up the table much.

Pisa’s recent home form is decent, as they are three matches unbeaten on home soil in Serie A, having recorded back-to-back home wins over Moderna and Cosenza.

Their attacking efforts have also improved in those recent home wins, as they have scored at least two goals in each of the home victories.

The visitors are currently in the play-off spots but are also just three points adrift of the automatic promotion spots. However, Cristiano Lucarelli’s team have been in poor form of late in the Italian second tier, as they have now failed to win in four league games.

Their last three Serie B games against Bari, SPAL and Brescia have all produced goalless draws.

The goalless draws mean that Ternana has kept clean sheets in six of their last eight matches in the Italian second tier.

Ternana’s recent away record is good, as they are unbeaten in their last four league matches, having recorded three victories in the run.

The visitors have also scored at least two goals in three of their four unbeaten away games.

What does Forebet predict?

Forebet predicts that Pisa will hold Ternana in a low-scoring encounter, which is a result that won’t help either team’s chances of moving up the table.
