Criminals Investigating Department of the Ghana Police Head quarters in Accra are after former Ghana international Baba Amando for allegedly defrauding a lady at an amount of GHC 450,000.
According to Reports, the woman named Melissa who works at DVLA wanted to travel to the United States of America and met Baba through a church member called “Miller” who is also a footballer.
According to Melissa, Baba took an amount of GHC 450,000 from her and has now vanished into thin air with all his numbers not going through.
“I met Baba Armando through a guy in our church the guy is called miller he is a football.”
“I told my pastor I want to travel to USA, we were walking with the guy and I told the pastor that day and the guy told me he knows the one former footballer called Baba Armando who is a Godfather to him.”
“He linked me up to Baba and he gave me an account to send 450,000 cedis to for the process.” Melissa told sportsworldghana.com
“It has been several months now Baba has vanished with all his numbers not going through. I have reported to the Police CID and he is a wanted man. I learnt he is hiding in Kumasi now. He gas defrauded many people and he is on the Police wanted list.”
Baba Armando who was capped nine times by Ghana scoring twice was until recently working for Forceis FC in the UAE Expatriate League
