Black Stars trainer Otto Addo has astonishingly left out Ghanaian attacker Kwabena Owusu from the 55-man list for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar.
Owusu has been in fine form for the Azerbaijan Premier League in the UEFA Europa League.
He scored two goals in the 2022-23 UEFA Champions League qualifiers for his club in eight matches and has one goal in two games in the Azerbaijan cup.
The former Black Meteors striker netted four goals and provided one assist in six UEFA Europa League group stages games.
Coach Addo will reduce the number to final 26 for the World Cup which begins on November 20.
