2022 World Cup: Winger Kamal Sowah makes Black Stars return in provisional squad

Club Brugge forward Kamal Sowah has been named in Black Stars 55-man provisional team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The 22-year-old winger who was born and bred in Ghana and began his career at the Right to Dream Academy has been invited to the Ghana national team for the Mundial.

Sowah is having a good time in the going 2022/23 season for Club Brugge after returning from his loan spell.

He has made 14 appearances in the Belgian top-tier this campaign where he has managed four assists in the process.

He has also scored twice in five matches in the Champions League to help Brugge qualify to the knockout stages for the first time in the club’s history.

He will be hoping make the final twenty-six man list which will be announced on November 10, 2022.

Ghana will play its first game at the Mundial against Portugal on November 24.
