4EVAYUNG FC youngster Emmanuel Afful has been named in Ghana’s national U-15 boys’ team for the FIFA U-15 Boys’ World Cup and Festival in Azerbaijan.
The call-up is a significant achievement for the Madina-based academy and reflects its work in developing young footballers. Afful travelled with the Ghana squad when it left the country on October 21, 2026, for the international tournament.
The competition in Azerbaijan will bring together some of the world’s leading young players. Ghana’s U-15 team has been drawn in Group W with Uzbekistan, the Bahamas, Myanmar, Guam and Kazakhstan.
Afful has emerged from 4EVAYUNG FC’s grassroots programme, attracting attention for his pace, natural ability and energetic approach to the game. His inclusion gives him an opportunity to gain international experience and measure himself against young players from other countries.
4EVAYUNG FC President and Bankroller Mr Seth Asamoah said he was pleased to see Afful reach the national-team level.
“I am delighted to see a young boy I took under my wing rise to this level. I hope he makes me and the entire staff of 4EVAYUNG FC proud.”
For the academy, Afful’s selection represents further recognition of its stated aim of finding, developing and helping young players progress to the highest levels of the game.
4EVAYUNG FC is based at the intersection of Madina, Ashaley Botwe and Nanakrom. Its football structure includes U-15 and U-17 teams, as well as Third and Second Division sides.
The club also operates an AI project intended to support its operations and contribute to player development.
Afful’s call-up comes after two recent international moves involving 4EVAYUNG FC players. Earlier this month, the academy facilitated the transfers of Seth Ziyaba and David Williams to Maltese club Luqa St. Andrew’s FC.
Both players are currently settling in well at their new club.
