Ameyaw has made nine appearances for Rakow so far this season, starting all six of the club’s Conference League qualifying matches and scoring once. He has also featured three times in the Ekstraklasa, with those appearances accounting for 181 minutes.
The potential transfer would keep Ameyaw in Poland’s top flight, where he has continued his senior club career since leaving Widzew Lodz for Piast in 2021. Rakow signed him after three seasons at Piast, where he established himself before moving to Czestochowa.
Ameyaw was born in Lodz and has Polish and Ghanaian nationality. He joined Widzew from MKS Polonia’s under-19 side in 2018 and later spent part of the 2019-20 season on loan at Bytovia Bytow.
A move to Korona would therefore represent a switch between Ekstraklasa clubs for a player who has been involved regularly in Rakow’s European qualifying campaign. There has been no confirmation of an agreement, with Ameyaw’s current contract at Rakow running through the end of the 2028-29 season.
