Ghana’s Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo, has labelled the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifier against Madagascar as a “small final.”
The West African giants will face Madagascar on Monday, March 24, 2025, in matchday six of the qualifying campaign at Morocco’s Al Hoceima Stadium.
The Black Stars thrashed Chad 5-0 on Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium and a win against Madagascar could open a five-point lead in Group I.
“Everyone needs to be on their toes.,” Otto said.
“This is like a small final, and if we win, we are really on course. Madagascar is a strong team, and it will be a tough game.”
Ghana currently lead the Group I table with 12 points, while Madagascar has 10.
