Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is keeping his team’s feet on the ground, warning against premature celebrations despite their favorable position in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana currently leads Group I with 12 points, closely followed by Madagascar with 10.
This follows the 5-0 thrashing of Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.
In a press conference on Sunday, Addo emphasized the importance of staying focused.
“Nobody should be thinking about the World Cup yet. We need to take it step by step. It’s very, very important that we stay focused until the job is done,” he said.
Ghana’s next challenge is against Madagascar in Morocco on Monday, March 24.
