Goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott is back in the Black Stars after after months of layoff following a thigh injury.
The shot-stopper has fully recovered and has been called up for the Black Stars’ two games against Madagascar and Comoros in the 2026 World Cup Qualifier.
Wollacott is expected to claim his starting goal in the goalkeeping department.
He missed several international matches for Ghana, including a crucial Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against the Central African Republic (CAR) and friendly games against Liberia, Mexico, and the USA.
Ghana is set to host Madagascar in their opening fixture at the iconic Baba Yara Stadium on Friday, November 17.
The match promises to be a thrilling start to the qualifying campaign, as the Black Stars aim to secure their path to the 2026 World Cup.
Following the showdown with Madagascar, Ghana will hit the road to face Comoros at the Stade de Moroni on Tuesday, November 21.
