Abdul Baba Rahman has been left out of the Ghana squad for this month’s 2026 World Cup qualifiers double header.

Chris Hughton instead turning to Medeama’s Abdul Fatawu Hamid for one of the left-back slots.

Baba Rahman’s omission comes as a surprise following his superb run of form for Greek Super League club PAOK.

Ghana will host Madagascar on Friday, November 17, 2023 at the Baba Yara Sports stadium before facing Comoros in Moroni on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
