The Black Stars of Ghana have emplaned to Mali ahead of their crucial 2026 Fifa World Cup Qualifier on Thursday, June 6, 2024, in Bamako.

The team wrapped up their training schedule in Ghana, where a rigorous training regime was undertaken at the University of Ghana Stadium from Friday through to Monday.

The full compliment of head coach Otto Addo’s team are fit and on board for the clash, despite late arrivals by Osman Bukari and Alexander Djiku.

Upon arrival in Mali -where the team will lodge at the Raddison hotel – Ghana is expected to train on Wednesday in Bamako before the game.

In the meantime, the 1173km journey (which equates to 1hr 46 minutes) from the Accra Kotoka International airport to Mali is underway.

Ghana, who are yet to win a game in 2024 and place 4th in their World cup qualifying group, face a herculean task against a high-flying Mali.
