Ghanaian forward Felix Afena-Gyan missed the Black Stars’ clash against Nigeria in the 2025 Unity Cup.
The 22-year-old was hoping to make his first appearance for Ghana in three years after earning a recall to Otto Addo’s 23-man squad.
However, the striker remains in Italy due to visa issues, according to the Ghana Football Association.
The GFA adds that Afena-Gyan is expected to join the team in time for Saturday’s final fixture in the four-nation tournament.
Afena-Gyan has scored one goal in seven appearances for Ghana.
